Dr Garron Dodd

Head of the Metabolic Neuroscience Laboratory

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiology and believe science is a privilege to be part of. I’m inspired every day to make new discoveries to help mankind and to teach aspects of biomedical science that I’m incredibly passionate about.

As a neuroscientist, I believe it is an incredibly exciting era to be a scientist. Never have we been able to manipulate, image and re-wire neuronal circuits with such accuracy and precision. If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be with Sir Isaac Newton! He’s such an interesting and controversial character, who made a big impact on how we understand the universe.
