Professor Peter Crack
Professor in the Department of Biochemistry & Pharmacology
Peter is a Professor and Head of the Neuropharmacology Laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry & Pharmacology at the University of Melbourne. His lab’s research centres on the role that oxidative stress and the neuro-inflammatory response play in the acute and chronic neurological injuries. To this end they are developing novel therapeutics which target pathways that regulate the neuro-inflammatory response that is activated in these diseases. This compound shows a promising profile in early trials.
