Associate Professor Quentin Fogg

Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology

Quentin is a Clinical Anatomist, which means that his research and teaching is focused upon developing and using anatomical information to improve clinical outcomes. His Surgical Anatomy Lab works closely with many clinicians, including surgeons, physicians, physiotherapists, podiatrists, etc. to answer clinically important questions about anatomy. He uses advanced techniques in Body Donor dissection, 3D modelling and medical imaging to improve understanding of our bodies, how they work, and how they can be repaired. His work has taken him around the world, including working the Caribbean and the UK. He is the current President of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomists, a contributor to the iconic Gray’s Anatomy book, an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a co-founder of the Melbourne Academy of Surgical Anatomy.
