The Clark Lab is looking for a Research Fellow to conduct research into neuropsychiatric risk genes under the supervision of Dr Mike Clark within the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, and as part of the Centre for Stem Cell Systems.

The Fellow will be a member of the team working on a Brain and Behaviour Foundation funded project whose goal is to investigate the expression and splicing of risk genes for neuropsychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, in human brain.

A major focus of this research will be the use of long-read Nanopore sequencing.

A second facet of this position will be to work with researchers in the centre and with collaborators to develop exciting new applications for this technology.
