2023 end of year dates

With the end of 2023 approaching, the Melbourne Histology Platform wishes to advise users of our 2023 cut-off dates and the end of year holiday closure arrangements.

End of year break

MHP will close at 4pm on Thursday 21st December 2023 and reopen Monday 15th January 2024. During that time, trained users with swipecard access are still able to book and use instruments on which they are trained, but samples will not be received for processing or other services.

Paraffin processing before the break

Samples must be received by 4pm on Monday 18th December if they are to undergo paraffin processing before the end of year break.

User training before the break

Training requests must be received by 4pm on Thursday 30th November. Any requests for equipment training received after this time will not be actioned until MHP reopens in January 2024.
