2021 end of year update
As we approach the end of 2021, there are some important updates about the Melbourne Histology Platform's operating pattern.
Operating hours
For the remainder of 2021, the Platform will continue to not be staffed on Fridays.
End of year closure period
MHP will close on Thursday 23rd December 2021 and reopen on Monday 10th January 2022.
2021 cut-off dates
- MHP lab induction or instrument training: cut-off date is Thursday 16th December 2021. Any requests for training after this date will not be actioned until the platform reopens in 2022.
- Paraffin processing: cut-off date is Tuesday 21st December 2021. After this date, no samples will be accepted for paraffin processing until MHP reopens in 2022.
