Prof in the Park: Lap It Up – Event Recap

Biomedicine students and staff come together for Prof in the Park: “Lap It Up” with Liz - a lunchtime walk / run around Princes Park.

Last Wednesday, students and staff came together for our first Prof in the Park: “Lap It Up” lunchtime walk / run around Princes Park.

Students joined Professor Liz Molloy, Deputy Dean Learning & Teaching, MDHS and friends from the School and Faculty team.

The weather was on our side – the rain held off – and it was the perfect setting for a friendly chat between first-year BBiomed students, SBS team members, and the wider Faculty community.

After the walk, everyone enjoyed a barista-made brew from Axil in their beautifully refurbished Citroën truck.

To top it off, the first 50 participants who arrived got a free baseball cap – a great memento from the event.

Thanks to everyone who joined us - we loved seeing so many students connecting with peers and staff outside of study.
