Finalists selected for Research Awards 2020-21

Prof Megan Munsie (Dept of Anatomy & Physiology, School of Biomedical Sciences) has been shortlisted for the Advocacy Award this year.

The finalists have been shortlisted across five Award categories with the winners to be announced in December at the National Research Australia Awards event, celebrating the best in health and medical research, innovation, leadership, philanthropy and advocacy.

Our congratulations to Professor Megan Munsie, Deputy Director of the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Stem Cell Systems, who has been nominated under the Advocacy Award for her work and leadership within the international stem cell research community, as profiled in the latest edition of INSPIRE magazine.

The Advocacy Award, recognises an Australian from the media, a celebrity or member of the community who has raised community awareness and understanding about the benefits of health and medical research.
