Dr Amber Willems-Jones wins MDHS Award for Sustained Excellence in Learning and Teaching

Congratulations to Dr Amber Willems-Jones from the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology, who won the 2023 MDHS Award for Sustained Excellence in Learning and Teaching, as well as the University’s prestigious David White Award for Teaching Excellence.

Dr Amber Willems-Jones recently spoke to Professor Jane Gunn AO, for the Dean's December Update about coordinating and redesigning the second-year Bachelor of Biomedicine and Bachelor of Science subject “Techniques in Molecular Science”.

Dr Willems-Jones is a Teaching Specialist in the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology, and holds the role of Subject Coordinator and Lecturer for the second-year practical biochemistry subject, Techniques in Molecular Science.
