Meet Yunqi
The Master of Biomedical Science helped Yunqi get her foot in the door for her first job at healthcare group, Sinopharm in Shanghai. She now works for Merck, a vibrant science and technology company.
Yunqi say the Masters degree developed her both professionally and personally. It gave her deep knowledge of biomedical science, opened doorways to internships and employment, broadened her career pathway across research and commercial and developed her soft skills.
“It taught me to keep seeking challenges and opportunities that allow me to grow,” she says.
From its influence in the medical and scientific fields, to the collaboration opportunities with top research institutes and hospitals, the University of Melbourne offered Yunqi much more.
The Masters degree provided a supportive, caring community, highly experienced professors and a welcoming working lab environment.
