Meet Kimberly
Kimberly is currently studying the Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, the career pathway she followed from the Bachelor of Biomedicine.
“I have always been interested in Health Sciences – and enjoy helping people achieve functional independence through physiotherapy,” she says.
The course also offers a wide range of opportunities for clinical placements in leading clinical facilities.
The practical classes and anatomy labs improved my manual physiotherapy skills and consolidate my learning. The clinical placements across different healthcare settings allowed me to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge learnt in classes.
As an international student, Kimberly says the Trinity College’s Foundation Studies prepared her well for the transition to university.
“Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there because there are so many resources available to help you! Make the most of your university experience by keeping an open mind and most importantly, pursuing what you enjoy and love most.”
