Meet our inspiring alumni

One of the highlights of Michelle’s undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne was the opportunity to work as research assistant during third year.

Michelle now works part time as a dentist and part time as a lecturer in digital health at Melbourne Dental School. During her Bachelor of Biomedicine, Michelle enjoyed learning and didn’t have a clear idea of what she wanted to do after graduating.

I knew I wanted to do something science-related but at the time it felt like everyone else had a plan and was charging ahead. If you told me when I graduated that this is where I’d be, I would have been surprised! But today it makes sense - it suits my personality to work across different sectors and perspectives.
