Originally from China, Ruo chose the University of Melbourne for its proximity to the state of the art research facilities and hospitals, and its reputation for attracting and producing talented students.

The BBMED was intellectually engaging and stimulating - it was a fast paced, rich learning environment and I was surrounded by clever, like-minded peers, who were always eager to learn, share and help each other.
