Stephanie Neville

Stephanie's research focus is the human pathogen Streptococcus pneumoniae. She is currently investigating the chemical biology of the host-pneumococcal interaction, with a particular interest in how essential metal ions, such as iron, zinc, copper and manganese are utilised in the host innate immune defence. Stephanie was awarded a NHMRC Peter Doherty Fellowship in 2018 and relocated from The University of Adelaide to the Peter Doherty Institute to continue her research.
