Maciej Daniszewski
I completed my Bachelor and Master degrees in Poland. During my Masters, I received a scholarship to do an internship in Melbourne where I met my future PhD supervisor. During my PhD, I generated over 480 human iPS lines from healthy controls and patients with different eye diseases and differentiated them into retinal neurons to compare their transcriptomic profiles using scRNA-seq. Currently, I'm setting up an imaging method to visualise cellular deposits in a dish and plan to investigate miRNA regulation of gene expression in the retina.
