Professor Norman Saunders features in Australia Day Honours List

Professor Saunders was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his significant service to medicine in the field of neuroscience through research into spinal cord injuries and mechanisms protecting the developing brain, and to sailing.

In the Australian honours system, appointments to the Order of Australia confer the highest recognition for outstanding achievement and service.

Our warmest congratulations to Professor Saunders on gaining this recognition for his outstanding contribution to this area of research.
