Research Projects, Honours, Masters and PhD

What research opportunities are available to you in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology?

Recently, the Department of Anatomy and Physiology held our information session for prospective Honours students and Masters of Biomedical Sciences students.

The students heard from Prof. Matt Watt on his memories of his Honours year, and about the vibrant department and the breadth of research opportunities. The attendees also heard from the people who co-ordinate these programs and learnt about the application processes. This Department wide meeting was followed by a number of Research Theme specific meetings where students met the researchers and heard from some of our current students.

The Department of Anatomy and Physiology offers many exciting research opportunities to undertake research at Honours and Masters Level and beyond to your PhD. Our research is focused on themes related to metabolic and cardiovascular sciences, muscle biology, sensory and systems neuroscience, stem cells, and developmental biology and Learning and Teaching.

We invite you to look at the different projects on offer by downloading the information booklet.
