Our laboratory has been established within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Melbourne with a focus on the science of applied microbial genomics to public health microbiology.
Our research interests include the molecular epidemiology and pathogenesis of infections caused by antimicrobial resistant pathogens, particularly sexually-transmitted infections, and the translation of genomic technologies to questions of public health importance.
