Welcome from the Head of School

Now that you may all have settled into the year with grants being submitted and the commencement of Semester 1 teaching, I would like to welcome you all to our first 2017 School Newsletter. Thank you to the many contributions sent. I am proud to be Head of this wonderful School celebrating and acknowledging our great talent of academic and professional staff, and students. Today, Thursday, April 13th, the School Research Committee presented their first symposium for 2017 on Microbiome. It was a great success with over 240 people in attendance.

I encourage you to read about our research, teaching and learning, and upcoming events, and to join me in congratulating our members on their achievements. I wish you a very restful break over the Easter holiday.
