| Associate Professor Danny Hatters | Danny Hatters awarded Human Frontier Science Program Program Grant The very highly regarded HFSP program grants are for collaborative research involving individuals from different countries, and who are from different disciplines. |
| Dr Russell Howard | Russell was presented with The Grimwade Medal for Biochemistry which is funded by the Russell and Mab Grimwade Miegunyah Fund to promote the discipline of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Melbourne by attracting a stellar international biochemist to visit the University, deliver a lecture and receive the award. | Dr Tu Nguyen-Dumont | Dr Tu Nguyen-Dumont received a Career Development Fellowship from the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The NBCF will be funding Tu's research program which is aimed at better understanding the genes used in genetic tests to maximise the potential of genetic testing, and ensure better outcomes for families at genetic risk of breast cancer. |
