Stefan Bagheri-Fam


I have a track record in developmental and reproductive biology, with a strong interest in the mechanisms underlying human disorders of sex development. I obtained my PhD in 2004 at the University of Freiburg in Germany. In 2010, I was successful in obtaining an NHMRC New Investigator Project Grant as CIA (2011-2013), and I was holding an NHMRC Project Grant as CIB (2014-2016). I have published 26 research articles in international peer reviewed journals with a total of 915 citations (Average: 35 citations per article). I regularly present my work at international and national conferences. I am also an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Monash University with experience in giving lectures, designing and conducting practical classes, setting questions for and marking exams, and supervision of Honours/PhD students.
