I am an early career researcher in immunology, and I am inspired about the every day findings people around me make on all things related to immunity and bugs.

Every year since I embarked on this profession it gets more exciting. 'Immunotherapy' is no longer just a buzzword—the recent breakthrough discoveries of cellular ‘brakes’, engineered cell receptors and gene editing technology means it is the next big weapon we have to fight diseases.

Remember to read, and consume information broadly and widely – be it watching Netflix or listening to podcasts. Even if something doesn't interest you at first, keep at it, you will find great rewards there.
