SBS researchers appear on ABC’s 7.30 Report

Professors Kanta Subbarao and Deborah Williamson were both featured to discuss issues related to coronavirus.

Professor Subbarao, of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunology (Doherty Institute), spoke to broadcaster and physician Dr Norman Swan on the program about whether winter could see a flare-up of COVID-19. As the Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza, Professor Subbarao discussed whether what we know about influenza could be used to predict seasonal influence on coronavirus.
