Please join us in congratulating our academic colleague, Professor Christopher McDevitt, who achieved promotion to full professor last year.
Professor McDevitt heads the McDevitt Research Group within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in the School of Biomedical Sciences. His lab’s research focuses on the interaction of pathogenic bacteria – for example Streptococcus pneumoniae, with the host environment with a particular focus on the role of metal ions.
