A reminder that the important dates for the EMCRA Collaborative Awards are now available

The school’s Early-Mid Career Researchers Association (EMCRA) is calling for applications for our 2018 Collaborative Award.

Call for applications and release of rules: Thursday March 1, 2018
Applications open: Wednesday April 4, 2018
Applications close: Friday May 4, 2018
Notification of outcomes: June 2018

We have $60K in total available to fund collaborations between level A and B postdocs who come from at least two different departments in the School of Biomedical Sciences. Several small grants (~$10 – 20k each) will be administered by EMCRA. The primary aim of this seed-funding is to support new collaborations between EMCRs from different Departments within the School. Projects that provide opportunities for career development and that will generate data for publications will be favoured.

A requirement for all applicants is the submission of a researcher profile, using the provided template. These can be submitted to our email address at your convenience, but must be received by 4 May.

Download full applicant guidelines, the grant template, and the researcher profile template. For any queries on this funding, particularly in regard to eligibility, please email us at sbs-emcra@unimelb.edu.au.

Applications must be received as a pdf file to sbs-emcra@unimelb.edu.au by 5pm on the day that applications close. Please save the pdf file using applicant’s surnames separated by an underscore (eg. Smith_Jones.pdf).
