What does your research focus on and why is it important?

My research focus is on imaging technologies (several microscopy techniques and specialised sample preparation) and how they help us understand and see details that would otherwise be invisible.

What was your first job in Biomedical Sciences?

I was a research assistant in a laboratory, researching novel therapies for late stage melanoma.

What did you learn from your biggest mistake?

They can become your biggest opportunity and open doors to new and exciting projects.
