My project involves investigating macrophage biology and functions, particularly endotoxin tolerance.

I will be investigating the molecular drivers involved in the initiation of tolerance as well as exploring ways to induce a tolerized state synthetically. This study will be carried out using terminally differentiated macrophages derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells.
