The Anatomical and Surgical Skills Laboratory

Located in Parkville Medical Precinct, the Department of Anatomy and Physiology features two large, state of the art, light filled laboratory spaces ideal for your next anatomical and surgical skills workshop.

Available for use year-round, our laboratories are well-equipped to host a variety of workshops, including surgical procedure simulations, anatomical wet-lab classes, and anatomical examinations.

The Anatomical and Surgical Skills Laboratory supports advanced training of the next generation of medical professionals, anatomy refresher courses, and the development of new surgical approaches and techniques.

Our Facilities

  • Multiple spacious, light filled laboratories with access to seminar and break out rooms
  • Audiovisual capabilities throughout the laboratories and seminar rooms
  • Professional washing and autoclaving services for instrumentation
  • Six radio-translucent operating tables with a wide range of table attachments
  • Surgical instruments and power tools
