Three School researchers on the 2017 Highly Cited Researcher List
The 2017 list has finally been validated and we are now free to publicise the results. The full listing is available from the Clarivate website.
Of the 137 top cited researchers in immunology, six were from Australia, three of whom are from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology which is a terrific result for our School.

Five of the six Australian immunologists making the list are in some way affiliated with Melbourne Universities which further substantiates the reputation of the city as a mecca for immunology research, which has produced outstanding internationally-recognised researchers such as Sir Frank Macfarlane Burnet and Sir Gustav Nossal.
One of our partners in the Bonn and Melbourne Research and Graduate School, Bo&MeRanG, Eicke Latz, from the University of Bonn, also made the list.
