Grimwade Medal for BIochemistry 2017
The recipient of this years Grimwade Medal for Biochemistry, Emeritus Professor Edwina Cornish, will reflect on her career from post-doctoral research, to her leadership in biotechnology pioneering the development and commercialisation of the first genetically engineered flowers, and her contributions as a University senior executive fostering partnerships with government, industry and the community. Her presentation is titled 'A fortunate career - the science, the people and the enterprises'.
Professor Cornish's lecture will start at 5:00 pm and run through till 6:00 pm, after which there will be an award ceremony followed by refreshments at 6:30 pm.
